Why are women so mean?

My situation is that I am white and my husband is hispanic and everytime that we go out together I always get dirty looks from the hispanic women why is that?

This question is so common with the europeans, its like me with my hubby.

I am italian and he is portuguese and i always getted treated horribly by woman in his culture.

i think alot of it has to do with jealousy and the fact that you are taking there men away from them.

it is really horrible, and inappropriate for them, but its lack of respect.

A girlfriend of mine is white and her husband is also hispanic and they have a mutual loud mouth woman friend who is hispanic and I can see the jealousy there, and the sad thing was that way back when her husband and this woman had an affair and my girlfriend forgave him and even today when the husband and this woman get together at parties she still trys to be real chummy with him and he stands there and talks to her all night... and I think my girlfriend just ignores it....

So your question isn't why are women mean, but why do some hispanic women have an issue that your hispanic husband married a white woman.

Some people don't care for others to date/marry outside of their own race...racism still exists in this world, unfortunately.

Hispanics are strange that way. I had a girl that was Hispanic and guys would turn on me to fight in movie lines and grocery stores and other well lit non-confronting friendly day to day, taking care of business places. I could understand if I were in a Hispanic club or,"on their turf" non-sense a.k.a "gang territory" but they are just not correct in their view towards society. Raised wrong by their parents or their neighborhood whey grew up in is what must be the problem. It is just a sad view of themselves, low self esteem which is the problem. They grew up in a neighborhood that taught them to be "EXCLUSIVE" towards others.

It is not the question of white and Hispanic, but it is the question of an outsider of the community. It is quite natural with the human race reacting with another sect but it is possible to bring love in their eyes for you. You do not have to spend money but you have to behave them nicely with words and give them respect. Simply you wish them all the times when you meat and even to an unknown women. Believe in GOD, you get respect among them.

They may feel like they lost another good Hispanic guy to some white *****. They are prejudice. Short and simple. Ignore it and live your life happily with your husband. Love may not know skin color, but everyone else in eye sight sure seems to notice.

I'm in a mixed marraige too. Happens all the time for us as well. People are stupid sometimes, and their opinion doesn't matter. Let them look. Just smile and wave.

you should of stock to your white male friend if this is going to bother you so much cuz Latin women are beautiful and strong your husband was probably wasn't able to find anyone who wanted him and tossed him out an settled with you a poor little white girl ...Una mosca merta

Most likely because they feel that you have stolen one of their own. Just ignore it. My hubby is Filipino and I am native american. I don't get dirty looks but if I did I would just think they are jealous of my sexy earlobes.

Probably the same reason some black women don't like white women who date black men. Its their territory, and you are invading. Even if they don't want that particular man, they don't want you to have him either. Keep your chin up, don't worry about it.
