My golden barb looks really plumb. Is it pregnant? She's been like it for about 4 days now. How do i know if she's pregnant or not?

Barbs don't technically get pregnant, they carry eggs and will lay eggs in a spawning ritual. If she has gotten plump very suddenly it's possible she is sick. Look at her closely for any scales standing out from her body. If that is the case you will need to medicate her with a good antibiotic I would suggest Furanace or Furan-2. If those aren't available, Maracyn TC would be my next choice.
If you don't see scales standing out she is probably carrying eggs. Here's a link to how gold barbs breed and what you would need to do to raise the babies.

purple glass barbs get to be 5 inches. they're too youthful and so as that they might desire to be in communities of 8 or greater. they're a aggressive barb and could be in large tanks. in addition they are egg layers. you will want important issues in the coming near weeks. YOUR TANK IS a large number. no longer between the fish you have can stay in a 10 gallon. human beings on the fish keep are idiots.

Sounds like she could be dropsical, a condition where a fish swells up due to kidney failure, usually caused by bacterial infection.
