But are given the opportunity to leave .. . .. But Don't . . ..Are you then a terrorist supporter ?
I'm referring to the current situation in Gaza . Palestinians have been given the opportunity to leave Gaza and go to the West Bank if they don't like their current Terroristic Government . Some undoubtedly will , but I'm talking about the ones who will stay . I think Hamas is being even further isolated by the U.S. and EU . Both have strenuously pledged full support for Fatah who is currently in control in the West Bank . And I think I have an idea of what is to come . Separating the seed from the chaff so to speak . And if / when Hamas gets attacked , very little or at least less concern will be given to so-called civilian casualties . Basically , if you support Terrorism , then you are a Terrorist .
What Are Your Thoughts ?

Duriel - Oh Really !! So your saying that TARGETING innocent civilians is the work of a Freedom Fighter ? I won't ask what your PhD is in because it's irrelevant . You didn't actually learn much .

Josh - This question required critical thinking and insight on the current state of affairs in Gaza and the West Bank . If you're not capable or willing to think analytically or critically , then I would suggest you answer questions in 'Polls and Suveys' .

Alphabet - I do appreciate your effort here . But I think I can resolve at least one part of your answer .
Simply because some people don't refer to terrorists as terrorists , then that does not change the fact that they are . Yes there are some gray areas in this world , but this isn't one of them . Attempting to dissect definitions to make them fit whatever your particular needs or desires or beliefs , only leads to confusion and never resolves even the simplest dispute .
Ahhhh, and the Lord said that in the final days the world would be in a state of confusion . Well folks , welcome to that 'state' .

In this case I say you better run since Fatah might be given great leeway to go after Hamas now that it is not part of the government or allow Israel to go clean up the mess since the Gaza strip is easier to isolate from support from other countries than when Israel was fighting Hamas in Lebanon. I think anyone who stays risks their lives and their children and we should feel no guilt.

One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. Just like the Irgun and Stern gangs. Its all about perception.
Have you ever considered Israel's use of force against Palestinians? Hamas is in power for a reason.
The country that was wiped out off the face of the earth was Palestine.
Are you really a Phd? What field?
In response to the comment: No, I think targeting the innocent is totally wrong. Hamas certainly is an extremist organization. My point is not civilian deaths, my point is Isreal's use of force. Many more Palestinian civilians died compared to Israeli.
You can't have any peace without justice. I know the website I gave is poorly designed, but you won't find those detailed maps anywhere else.
You certainly are gullible to believe everything on the US media. Especially considering you are a Phd.

I'd say you are. Living in a terrorist controlled state when given the option to leave and yet remaining means you don't think what they do is all that bad. Whatever the reason for staying you give credence to the cause.
It's reminiscent of Nazi Germany... 1/3 were Nazis/Nazi supporters 1/3 were vocally anti-Nazi and 1/3 were anti-Nazi but silent.
In my mind then Nazi Germany was effectively comprised of 2/3 pro-Nazi or Nazi supporters.
If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck... its a duck. You can dye it's feathers skyblue pink but it doesn't negate the fact that it is a duck.
Call them insurgents, foreign fighters, or whatever else... a terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist.
We also in every war we fight do our very best to minimize collateral damage. We don't go purposefully bombing mosques or neighhborhood schools or crowded marketplaces unlike our enemies. We value life and do our best to protect it, they on the other hand do not.

I think you are making a couple of assumptions, one political, one, more facts of life. On the first account, you are assuming Palestinians view or interperet Hamas to be a terrorist organization, Fact is, like or not in the west, many do not see them this way. On the second count, many people, due to family, family ties, stability, jobs, children, simply cannot leave Gaza for the west bank, regardless of the desire they may have to do so.
The real world is not so black and white, the real world has people that have a different understanding of the world, when compared, to our own.

Actually, the Palestinians gave the majority of their votes to Fatah.
Fatah still holds the majority of the seats with Hamas closely behind.
So should I then assume that you think any Democrat that stayed in America after Bush "won" office should now be considered a Bush supporter?
This is quite a rediculous argument.

Most of the Palestinian voters voted for the terrorists. So, yes, they want to live with the terrorists.

I agree. There is no such thing as "innocent civilians" in time of war. We all have to pick our side.
