Other peoples lack of understanding. Some of the most simple facts are the hardest to grasp. "I believe in a Christian God" is so fundamentally simple 5 words low thought, low emotions. But to some people this is complex. The logic for the believer is simple, almost emotionless at some point. Complexity is determined by outsiders and troubled minds.
If someone feels complex themselves then they have yet to understand themselves, People should always understand themselves first, then others.
I have been called complex for my ideas and thoughts before, but in my mind it is so simple.

Yes. They're defined by the complexity of their feelings and mind.

Noting is too complex!!! PPl only make it that way because they are full of drama. Or they don't want to do things the easy way, and get int trouble doing it the wrong way, which causes things to be complex, mostly starts with feelings and wanting to make a name for yourself. Making your own stamp of approval......

l think that what most people refer to as a complex person is always compared to their personality and how they see and translate things..mostly would be that they see things differently and thus complex

In Greece, we use the word "synthetos" from "synthesis",( meaning composite, compound,) for the first category you mention. This person consists of various, interlapping feelings and thoughts.
For the other, the most commonly known "complex" personality, we use "confused personality".

i do think that's part of it. I mean, a complex person would have a very complex way of thinking, that perhaps couldn't be understood or predicted by others. Emotions too of course.
