I have a private fence on my back yard 6ft high, and would like to cover it with plant that grows on the fence wall. I would also like to secure the fence by growing such plant so that the fence wall would stand stronger. What is the best kind? Eventually I will be making some sort of area with a pond garden. I have one acre. Thanks.

Depending on climate I'd recommend Trumpet vine. Fast growing, hearty, blooms for several months, fragrant, and withstands moderately cold winters. You can also use climbing roses. You don't want to use annuals because they have to be replaced every year.
