I know ahead of time this answer is going to get long winded so I apologize now. My wife and I were in Vegas a few years back and we met some good friends of her Mom's for dinner at the Bellagio. Her Mom's friend ordered some fancy personal pizza and after about the first three or four bites she had a chunk of parsley or whatever that green blob was between her two front teeth and I couldn't say anything. I don't know them all that well and I would have felt weird saying it. I was fighting from laughing though because it was too funny. I asked my wife later if she seen it and she was like "oh yeah" and she felt funny saying anything herself. I mean her husband had to have noticed but nothing was ever said. Now had it been just somebody I didn't even know I'd probably say "Hey you've got something stuck in your teeth" probably because it's easier to tell a stranger because you'll never see them again and in actuality they would probably be the one who was embarrased.

I would only if I knew the person well. I would think of a nice way to tell them so as not to embarrass them. If it were a stranger, then no I would not say anything.

It depends. What is more satisfying to you? Imagining all the embarrassment he might face while you aren't there? Or, the embarrassment he will have when you point it out to him?
