A setting in which people work. It is usually is a smaller part of a larger building, or even a whole building itself. Mostly the work that takes place in them are administrative in nature.

And before you post something about people being stupid, there are millions of people who have never seen or heard of an office. Maybe you should try to educate instead of humiliate.
