i play secondlifeTM and it says i have to renew my account? what does that mean?

i play adult grid and i have a basic membership so i really don't see the point of needed to renew anything when there is nothing to renew but did this happen to anybody before. any players wanna tell me what i should try? because this is ticking me off i'm the 3rd person that i know that this has happened to and lindens don't seem to be caring about the complaint letters/calls. thank you sooo much if you can.

So, renew your account anyway. They probably haven't perfected the system yet or else they want to limit the actual time before it expires. What do you have to lose by renewing the account?
