in life you have to do things you don't want to do.... you'd better learn to live with people you don't like.

you could try to make those people like you instead... find something you agree upon, or like to talk about and you realise they are more like you than you ever thought!

so put in your 100% effort for this project of yours, and then wait to see the results... in the end you and them will have the satisfaction that you worked on the project together and you gave your utmost for it. then it won't matter if you got a lower mark than you expected. by working together you will appreciate each other more and also respect each other.

grow up!!! hope this helped you a tiny bit!!!

Ha! I just went through this, I rushed, did a decent job on my project, or i at least tried to out do myself and impress the teacher, do as much as you can... then talk to your teacher before or at the beginning of class and show him/her all the work that YOU personally have done, tell them about your dumb group members, but not in an insulting way, just tell the truth, and tell them that you tried your hardest. Dont tell your group members, just give them what you bring to the table, present like any other group, and odds are you will get the most points for that assignment or presentation. Ive had to do this a few times, most of my teachers understood, excpet for one, who said 'well it was a part of your job to push the group in the right direction, no excuses, you'll be graded just as much as anyone else... yada yada' and i just replied with 'well if my doing my very best in these circumstanced is not good enough for you, then fine, I guess im not worth it...' because by law if you 'tied your hardest' they cant straight up fail you, though you might get a C

Maybe you should've tried to get along with your groupmates long enough to get the assignment done? Other than faking sick for the day, you're going to look like a fool.

It's too late to do anything but your best. Next time don't wait until the last moment to prepare.

try making a work schedule. your group mate(s) each do part of the work. try to get the work done fast and try to make little contact while doing the project.
