In my opinion, our greatest strengths lie in our ability to reason and communicate. Our greatest weaknesses are not using these abilities well.

Animals can't be hypocrites: they don't kill because they want to and they don't know that it's wrong to kill in the first place. We know that it's wrong to kill--especially just because--and still do it. Whether having a sense of morals makes us better, and it really should, it also gives us the opertunity to be hypocrites.
