It all depends on what you want. If you want to have to hold down CTRL + ALT + DEL every eight hours or so ... if you want to always be worried that your computer will get ridden with viruses and either crash or send your credit card number to a Nigerian 'offshore' amphetamine-dealing enterprise with links to Al'Queda .... if your MSN buddies don't mind your disappearing every couple of hours, only to come back online and cough, 'sorry, bud ..had to reboot' ... if you enjoy reading 'this application has executed an illegal command' (or whatever it is) .. if you want to make the world's already richest company even richer by buying what is in effect *the* shittiest operating system ever produced and if you like your graphics interfaces to look as if they were designed by an autistic orang-utan high on crack, then yeah, stick with your PC.

If, however, you want a stylish and reliable computer that is never infected with a virus, that is fast with a rock-solid and beautifully designed GUI, complete with an underlying BSD UNIX operating system, in short if you want a computer that just *works* and that refuses to crash or even become unstable, no matter how much s*it you throw at it, then you have one choice and one choice only.

A Mac.

You can get so much more for your money on a PC but if you HAVE to get it, you should wait till October When Leopard OS X is out, besides rumors are prices will go down, and you will have saved a little more money.
