Participants of the greek section?

I am new in your section, i am greek,and i always have a look to the questions and aswers..
I would like to start a new participation in this section,giving my best contribution to you and to our country..
I want to get to know with all of you..
Which are your favourite contacts in this section?

Welcome. The majority of Greek answerers are open minded, well informed and eager to enlighten and help aswering questions which are being asked by users of good will.
Most of us everyday visit the Turkish section too, as we have established strong friendships with most of the turkish users, who in turn visit, as you can see, our section.
By the time you'll get to know better all of us, and maybe become friends with some, as many of us already have, and meet "over a glass of ouzo or wine"...
As for my contacts, I have many, one can see them below my profile, most of them are from Turkey...

Yes this section, being a travel one is certainly a victim to the double standard, it is clear by the examples you've given. But what happens when say another section (travel) is completely corrupt, coming from all angles are trollish like users, and the visitor, the non-regular, is the victim? The big mouthed regular users that scream the loudest there claim they are respected, and yet nothing comes from their mouth that is respectable. Anyone answering there has a most difficult time if they do not stick to lines of mush and goosh about the country. "Yes it is a great country", gets you out alive, and the " no, it is not so great, here is why" gets you slapped, bashed, and removed. Trolls are the regulars, and the few obvious trolls don't stand out so much anymore. Well there is a section like this, and all of the crappy things, TD, reporting, racial slurring, is not being done only by the so called trolls, but more by the 24/7 squatters of the section.. YA thinking the entire travel portion of Yahoo has gone completely amok, by comparing all other issues to the one I mentioned could be most likely happening. It only takes one to sink a ship, but it takes a bomb to sink a fleet... Maybe to Yahoo the bomb has dropped for everyone..

Merhaba, Welcome,

I am from Turkey section but come here quite often to read and participate in Q and A's of fellow Greek friends. I enjoy the atmosphere in here. Except a very few, people in here are very kind and helping with a good intellectual level. Always with a positive manner.. There are also some with a great sense of humor.

Leonarda, Tolia, Dimitris of Aegean, Dellarevere, hard and tender and Reifguy ( sorry if I forgot to mention anybody) also come and participate in our section and all of their ideas and participation is highly valued. Some of them are personal friends.

Hope you come and visit us, too sometime.

Hope you enjoy being here. All together we can make this section a better one everyday. And let the world discover how wonderful Greece is.
This may surprise you but I have a little confession to make... I am not Greek! But I love Greece as if it were my own country. And I honestly believe Greece's greatness has to do, equally, for the quality of its culture, and for the amazing people it has.
About my favourite contacts...? Well, I hope you become one of my favourites. So far I have to admit I really like Haroula, who comes from time to time to these section; Leonarda, who is a frequent answerer; Takis, who's really willing to help; Tolia; etc.

Hi, I also come to this section even though I am from the states. Every year I visit Greece though to see friends there and also family of family I have. There are several regulars on this section that are very helpful and friendly so you will find a lot of interesting topics answered.
So even though in reality I am not Greek, but adopted Greece as my loveland lol if there is such a word, I welcome you to here.

well i am a new comer also,,i joined very soon myself ,.by adding contacts and making some nice friends here,i aint greek by the way ,but the attraction and warm hospitality seems to attract me to come here,,,very nice people and very knowledgible also,,,u r welcome and i know u will get a warm welcoming from everyone ,,,good luck

I'm new too...And I don't know everybody yet...But my favourites participants here are Spartan and Leonarda...And I think I am becoming an important user too, as many people appreciate my questions and my answers...

Many people seem to be quite good and kind persons, but there are also some trolls. When you see a troll, just ignore him...

Hi and welcome aboard! I am not Greek either but sort of spend half of my life nowadays in Greece and Turkey. And with summer coming, many tourists will have questions and so it is great to have another local on here. Leonarda is very famous on here, she is from Rhodes and is always very helpful with her honest answers and so is Edoardo, her brother! Well, all the best to you!

Yasu file mou. I am a Turkish Cypriot and I often come here and answer relevant questions. Most of the participants are nice people. My favorite contact is Leonarda, she is my friend. Anyone else who is a friend of Leonarda is also my friend (automatically).
