WHERE DO YOU LIVE...I WANT 100MBPS!
Actually that is the speed of your local computer network, that is not the dsl speed. DSL does not have the capacity for that unless your pc is plugged directly into the dslam. If you are seeing speed issues, contact your ISP tech support.

What kind of computer do you have? Do you regularly run Ad/Spyware checks? Same with an antivirus? What do you define as slow, could if possibly be your computer? Do you ever reset or just unplug your modem and let it sit for like 5 mins then reconnect? Did you try going into your network connections and right clicking on your net connection and clicking repair? How long has this been happening? Is this just a new ISP?

Sorry kinda answered your question with a thousand of my own but... maybe those questions could give a good place to search for answers at.

I very much doubt you have 100Mb INTERNET, you probably have 100Mbit INTERNAL networking TO your router/modem.

Visit www.SPEEDTEST.net and click nearest server to you, and run a proper speed test.

Most internet connections onn DSL are in the 1/2mb to 16mb range, SOME on fibre link go to 20 or 50 but they are EXPENSIVE

Alxso the internet is only as fast as the slowest link between you and the page you try to see.

if you think of your DSL as a highway, with light traffic, you can go faster. with heavy traffic you have to slow down. it's normal for DSL 's speed to vary depending on the traffic at any given time.
