It's hard to say but you certainly are getting close. Have some pads or tampons handy just in case of emergencies.

I wish there was some magic chart that would tell us, but every single one of us is different. I would say you're getting closer. I had those same symptoms when I was getting ready to start when I was 14...and if memory serves me correctly, the cramps were the last symptom to appear. I would probably start carrying something in your purse when you are out...just in case...cause mine ended up starting with very little warning, had had cramps for a couple of days (motrin and a heating pad has ALWAYS been my saving grace). I wanted to know also, but I was caught off guard. still remember the day and what was going on around me (my mom had JUST been involved in a fender bender!!!). On the other hand, my sister was almost 10 when hers started and she didn't have ANY PMS symptoms (the lucky girl).
We're all different, and while I wish I could tell you, there really just is no way. Your doctor may be able to give you a better idea. It's a good idea around your age to have a full physical and definitely pelvic exams and Pap smears once you do start.
Sounds like you are getting close to womanhood...and while it is very difficult to be patient, the only thing we can do is wait. Cause when your body says it's time...it's time and congratulations to you.

I believe its anywhere from 12-17 depending on your body. I was 12, and hated it! but my one friend didn't start until she was alomst 17 and my cousin was 16, she even had all the signs when she was your age but it still never came until later. Just always be prepared. If you don't get it by age 17 you'll need to go to the doctors.

yes it seems u'll be getting it soon!! congratulations! i got mine at 11...i was not expecting it at all...and i got it IN SCHOOL!! lool...keep some pads handy with u incase u get it! i suggest u start with pads before u move on to tampons...those can be terribly uncomfortable and can feel abit invasive since u have to insert it into ur vagina...oh yeah...reffering to the above answer, please stay away from pap smears until u've started sexual activity or have reached age 21...a young girl who's never had any sex is at a very low risk of developing abnormal cells, plus the pap smear can be quite invasive for someone so young....anyways, enjoy your coming womanhood :)
good luck!

Probably soon, because of the cramps. But noone can predict it. You'll get your period when your body is ready. A woman doesn't get a period until her body is certain that she could support a pregnancy (that's why we get them in the first place)

there's no problem...like what the previous poster said,it depends on when your body is ready.
however, you should probably go check it out if your period hasn't arrived by the time you're 16+.
i had mine when i was 12...unfortunately,my period comes with stomach cramps which hurts like hell.
if you have problems like me, eat healthy, thts what my mum says to get rid of the stomach cramps.
dont worry, you'll know when it has arrived.
But believe me,you should enjoy it when you don't have periods yet.

I remember how anxious I was to get my period...
It'll come before too long.
And then after the first 4 or 5, you'll forget about them
by the time you reach 2nd or 3rd year, you just won't care about them, and when you get to 6 1/2 years like me (and it feels like Sooooo much longer) you just forget about the days before you got them. I wish I could be as exited about mine now as I used to be, when it was so mysterious and new! awww, i wish I was you, getting your period for the first time.
I'd give anything to have that moment back.

Nobody can say for certain, but it sounds like it will be pretty soon, as in the next few months.

Whenever your body is ready. I already have mine and I am 12. It all depends on when your body is ready.
