i just heard tha t having sex with a woman on her periods is dangerous how far is the truth? is blood clean?

Unless the woman has a blood borne disease - like HIV (AIDS), there is no problem having sex with a woman who is menstruating (if you both agree), unless you can't stand the sight/smell of the discharge.
I believe it was probably a smart woman somewhere in the past that started the rumor that having sex at that time would "drain" his manhood some way. This was done to give her a period (pardon the pun) of respite from sex.
Having sex with a woman who is menstruating won't protect you from STD's so still use a condom, unless your sure both of you are disease free.
In some cultures it is actively promoted, as its almost impossible to conceive at that time.

*LOL* What a question...! No, it's fine to have sex with a woman on her period. Personally, the first few days of it, I am so ready to have sex with anything that moves! Thank God, my husband isn't opposed to it. If she is having a heavy flow, I would avoid it. It's messy and has a bit of an odor to it. Sometimes it smells like metal and othertimes has a sweet smell - it's very distinct though. As far as the woman who commented on HIV - if you are having sex with someone who is infected, you are sharing the same bodily fluids (blood or no blood - just talking lubrication here) and are already more prone to it. The blood doesn't make it worse.

Coitus during menstruation is not harmful to one's health. That in general is a myth and one usually held as a religious or cultural restriction in many cultures. Some even believe that sex during menstruation... is fatal, or will rob a man of his health and strength. Total nonsense.

And is mentraual blood 'clean'? Well... no. it's blood. So, it'll be... well... 'messy', and it's very hard to wash out of bedsheets. And if by 'clean' you mean as in free from disease, well, that depends on the health of the woman- doesn't it. If she has a disease, then... it will be in her blood, no matter where it comes from in her body. Otherwise, menstrual blood can smell bad too. BUT... some men are excited by that- as a 'fetish' of sorts. Some... even like performing menstrual 'oral' sex. That's very rare, but... it's true. Yucky, but true. *Shrugs*

But no, sexual intercourse during menstruation is not 'unhealthy', and some like sex during that time- the best.

Geez! all men should have sex with your women at any time! No wonder women have the reputation of being a ***** during PMS...the men are scared of her!

The best way to releive a womens cramps is orgasm. If you help your women out I bet she will be in a much better mood.

It perfectly safe, just lay down a towel or try it in the shower..

There is a prohibition in Judaism. You need to be ultra clean. This is the way you can get HIV from a woman, but if you are talking your wife and she is faithful, it is not a biggie.
