Why do the terrorist want the democrates to win the presidency?

They are silly enough to think that the Dems will be soft on them. So they will for a time, but they do not realize the Dems can do absolutely anything to them and they will not hear a whimper. So they should dream on. Another attack on the Dems' stronghold - New York - and they will be dead meat, but only after the Dems come to the reluctant conclusion that GWB was "incompetent but right in principle". So unless they are intending to retire, they are better off with a Republican, who will be whined about all day.

Why is fear being used to determine the presidency in the United States. We should be trying to get the best person elected instead of creating a state in which we have to fear a threat that is mostly hype by those that want more big government in this country. Take the duct tape and plastic protection route and send the homeland security People to Hawaii for R and R and you might realize that we are being force feed the crap about terrorist. Like 4 guys are going to attack fort Dix. If the terrorist are that tough we might need to get the economy size fear mongers and elect them again. This seems to be an assumption by Republicans to justify derision to the Democrats who profess to withdrawing the troops from Iraq as a priority. I doubt the Islamic jihadists distinguish much in America between party lines. They are an equal opportunity killer of Americans given the opportunity.

How do you know they do? I don't think it makes one bit of difference who is in office. In fact, I believe America has been going down the wrong path toward what some call world peace. If you call the Iraqis fighting to get the US out of their country terrorist, then its because they want the US out of their country. Everybody fighting the US is not a terrorist.

The President of Iraq asked the US to stop handing out guns to millitias because he believes we are arming people that are turning around and using those weapons against coalition and Iraqi forces. We have no idea who the enemy is in Iraq.

They used it in 2004, and it started being used in '06 in prep for the upcoming election, hence your question. Absolutely no one knows who or if they actually care who wins our election. Well contrary to the warped liberal logic the Islamo Fascists do not like being killed and defeated they prefer governments that bow to them rather than fight them. That the terrorists echo the words of the liberals means that they recognize a group that will if not capitulate at least stop fighting.
