i have been told that all the crickets i giver her should be dusted. shall i dust them all together once? or as and when i feed her them? at the moment im dusting the crickets when i feed her them, is this right?

The crickets are dusted just before they are fed to your dragon. The frequency depends on the type of supplement you are using, whether it is plain calcium or a calcium vitamin combination, the age of your bearded and the type and amount of UV light it is exposed to. For a baby, under fluorescent UV light a weekly dusting with a calcium/vitamin supplement (or plain vitamin) and 4 or 5 times per week with a plain calcium worked well for me, assuming you are feeding daily.

The crickets should be dusted right before feeding. Once daily with plain calcium powder, and once a week using the calcium with vitamin D3 added. The dust does not stay on the crickets for very long, so if you dust all of your crickets at one time, then just feed a few at a time...any crickets fed after the initial feeding won't give your Beardie the calcium he needs.
The crickets should also be gutloaded........meaning they should be offered food that contains extra nutrition. As they come from the pet shop, they probably haven't been fed much of anything, and reptilees get a good amount of nutrition from what is in their prey's stomach as well as the prey itself.

dirt them at each and each feeding, merely determine you're dusting in easy terms those you're feeding (crickets do not tend to stay long after being uncovered to the powder). Get 'em in a ziploc bag or something and shake an somewhat small quantity of powder into it (you like them to be gently dusted, not fossilized XD). additionally in case you're commencing them on vegetables quickly, dirt those too

by dusting your crickets i believe you are using a vitamin powder. Do not do this everytime. Dust them atleast once or twice a week. You can over do it with the vit powder.
