Want to know if the receivers will still allow the paument to be deferred or if they will want the balance now

Legally the next step will be for the Receiver to contact you. If you do want further information I suggest you either contact the Receiver or ring the company and ask what the situation is.

As long as you have a signed contract you should have nothing to worry about but if you do have extra cash perhaps you should approach the company who is handling the bankruptcy and see if you can't make a deal to payoff now and get a big discount.

As stated, it would depend on the contract you signed. If it was for payments, it should continue as such. You are not to blame for the situation so you should not be penalized.

Your contract is probably with and independent lender not the contractor that installed it for you. The question you should be asking is who to call for service if your unit breaks.
