I remember seeing it 8 or 9 years ago on TV, it seem like late 80s to early 90s kinda film.
it was about this woman that made a cookin program but she can't really cook and then for some reason she's have to host that guy for Christmas with her family and since she's not married and don't have a family they hire her a kid and she pretend she is married to her producer (or director I don't really remember) then she fall in love with the guy but he thinks she's married. Everything then falls apart toward the end of the movie so she has to come clean in front of the whole world on live TV. I don't remember anything much but it was a family movie comedy and Christmassy

...you might be surprised to know, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself, directed the TNT made-for-cable film you're talking about, namely "Christmas in Connecticut", from 1992.

Was it Christmas in Connecticut (1992)? That was about a character called Elizabeth (l think), who hosted a cooking show.
