I have found a small hard lump on my nipple, area of my breast its just under the skin and on the outside of the area, dont really know how to describe it really its not on the teat but its on the edge of where the nipple meets the breast if you know what i mean, im 29, . any one help.

This could be a small cyst(fluid filled pouch)..which are almost always benign
( non-cancerous)
It could be a blocked duct...The ducts are for milk production and are located around the nipple.
It could be a small fibroadenoma, these are solid masses ,,,most are benign.
But most likely since it is so close to the skin surface...sounds like an sebaceous cyst...which is usually a small zit like bump it may just go away on it's own.
Either way go to the Dr and get it checked out....

Go and see the doctor - the sooner the better. They will hav to investigate this and will most probably refer you to a breast clinic. It may be nothing, but at the same time, this could be very serious - get it checked out now. Theres alot that can be done if it is a tumour, please dont be too scared by this so that you ignore it. It needs to be dealt with now. Make an appointment asap.

Go to your doctor there is no point worrying yourself sick and asking people who haven't seen it. Make an urgent appointment to see your doctor and you should know pretty quickly. I had a lump went to my GP sent me for a mamogram and to see a consultant all within a week. Consultant took a sample of the lump with a tiny needle sent it to be examined told me to go and have a brew and come back, half an hour later I was told it was a fatty lump an asked if I wanted it taking out I said yes. Took it out 2 weeks later

Ignore those two insensitive little prats that have scared you ridged. I fail to understand the mentality of those idiots that think it is funny to scare you. Not all lumps are cancer however
I think you should go to your GP to get this lump checked out. I don;t think it is cancer at all BUT as with all lumps they should always be checked out honey ok.
It could be a blocked milk duct or a cyst.
Please try to calm down and phone your GP this minute.

I did end up having surgery but im fine now. its a veryu scary time for you iknow but go get yourself checked out at the docs. It could be an ingown hair hun. I had a lump on my breast but it did not sound like you are describing. Mine did turn out to be cancer ( I knew it was) Go along to your doctor to alleviate your fears. You will be fine. x

dont listen to everyone saying you've got cancer!! nobody can tell what it is just from what you said. You need to go to a doctor to get it checked out... i know you may not want to!! It may just be a sist....my friends mum had a lump and it turned out just to be a sist so dont worry just get it checked out and put your mind at rest!! I'm sure it will be nothing...good luck honey xx

Go to the doctors a.s.ap it doesnt mean you have cancer but its better to be safe than sorry. He will have they will have to examine you so if your not comfortable ask for a woman doctor. Hope it ok good luck XXX

My sis had a lump when she was 19-22 and it was a cyst (SP) it poped out eventually and was sore. But as your a lot older there is a higher chance it could be cancer.

ive got the same thing but its on the side of my boob not my nipple (im only 18) i dont know what it is but im worried now from these replies! hope we both find out what it is soon
