i plan to buy an entry level dx10 graphics card from nvidia(8500gt)...i play only sports games and some racing games...will i be able to play future sports and racing games on an entry level graphics card like nvidia 8500gt

Yes you can. But do not expect awesome gaming performance because the 8500GT is just comparable to the 7300GT. However, the 8500GT would really be great in high definition videos w/ its PureVideoHD Technology.

u will be able to play such games on curent 7300GT/7600GS also so i don't see the need for the extra money only over directx10 suport considering that there is almost no performance difference . My advice is go as cheap as u can and buy a 7300GT or 7600GS instead of 8500GT ...
