As I mentioned I am going through a very ugly divorce from my estranged and abusive husband and the last thing I was anticipating was to start seeing someone. But he makes me happy and he makes me laugh and he loves the most trivial things about me: my smile and my laughter, my sense of humor and my sarcasm, my openness and my compassion. My honesty. And does not care about my mistakes in the past. Why? He is a great guy with a fantastic personality and a great job. And here I come with all my problems and worries and all he says is - ah, do not worry, we shall work it out, you are very special, what would you like me to make for dinner? Am I just lucky or have I simply forgotten what it is to be and feel special and be loved regardless of what mistakes you might have made?

“Love is not affectionate feeling, but a steady wish for the loved person's ultimate good as far as it can be obtained”
C S Lewis

You are loved. Rejoice. Drink it in. Bathe in it. Be thankful.

You are very lucky to have found a guy who accepts all you "baggage" I think you are having a bit of a problem with it because you have forgotten what a special person you are. Obviously your soon to be ex has worn down your self esteem a bit, but now your new guy and you can rebuild it together. Cherish him my dear, there are not too many like him out there. He obviously cares about you a great deal. Just remember what he already knows, that your past mistakes are just that: PAST mistakes, and dwelling on them now really is counterproductive. Enjoy the special feeling that this man gives you and remember how special you are.

Love is something that is uncomparable.. n u might hav the fate to find the right person now...go for it give it a shot...there will be better things to do later...and remember a person is always judged by his attitude and behaviour towards the opposite sex...if respects u then he will luv u too...leave the past behind...becoz u have a better future and it ur duty to make it brighter with a guy who loves u and repects u...there might ups and down but with the support of luv trust me u can go a long way....

Never look a gift horse in the mouth. I guess you are getting to experience what nice men there are out there. Besides, you 'baggage' is pretty common these days so it won't be so much as a shock for him or other guys.

It sounds like you found a giver.

It seems like there aren't a whole lot of us respectively but there are guys out there who derive a vast amount of satisfaction in our personal lives from taking care of and feeling needed by the women we love.

well maintain caution.. am not saying from this new guy.. but from yourselvef... a failed relationship is a hard thing.. and right now u are very vulnerable... take some time off after your divorce and then pursue this.. u never know it could just be a rebound {}

You have simply forgotten what it's like to be and feel special. Enjoy it. Enjoy him. You deserve it. :)

I hope that this is not a rebound relationship. That nice guy is going to get hurt if it is.
