the secrecy surrounding that night of 3 may is incredible. has there been a d-notice to the press protecting the identities? the witness who saw the man at 9.30 has not been identified or heard of since. Philomena in Hello (!!) is horrified at the thought of madeleine waking up to a stranger, when she's already on record that the child didn't wake up and that's why there was no sign of struggle - otherwise she'd have known her abductor.

did kate return alone? did she run out to the tapas bar? did she shout 'they've taken her'? who did she mean? were the shutters 'jemmied' as gerry said? were the doors 'hanging off their hinges' as gerry said? which of the parents saw maddie last? at what time? why did it take so long to call the police if it was so obvious she had been abducted? who else was in the apartment that night to 'contaminate' evidence, as police say? who were the friends and relations? and how many?

You forgot a question.....when she ran back to the bar to say They have her did she leave the twins in the room still; knowing her 1 child had been kidnapped or did she scoop them up and take them with her in fear they could be taken to?

According to reports from the hotel staff...the shutters were not jimmied. According to reports Gerry saw them at 9pm. According to reports the Mccanns, their friends, hotel staff and other guests of the hotel were in the hotel room after the dissappearence. I think I read like 20 people. How many people does it take to search 1 hotel room? I think it was 8 other adults who were with them on Holiday. The one single male adult; traveling with them; is the one who apperently was the witness to the man who was carrying a child in a blanket or towel. Just wanted to answer your questions with some articles I have read in either bbcnews or skynews. Plenty of other questions however.

think of you owned a newspaper. you have approximately 50 pages to fill daily with information. For the previous 6 months there has been a narrative that has caught the attention of the worldwide. Do you: (i) in simple terms record information, thereby making it lots greater stable to fill your 50 pages, or (ii) milk the story for all that is nicely worth, reporting any previous rubbish with the observe "McCann" in it to lazily fill some pages and save the rustic's curtain twitchers 'fed and watered' for yet another day till somebody is charged or Madeleine is stumbled on, i'm going to take each thing I examine interior the papers with a truck load packed with salt.

I think there are far more questions than answers and much as I would like to think that the McCann's obsession with PR is a good thing I'm not convinced that there is not an ulterior motive for it. What they are doing is creating a massive smoke screen which is diverting any criticism which could be aimed at them for their total lack of responsibility. I am amazed at the cloak of silence that has decended over the British media when any suggestion of child neglect is made. Whether this is because they all show the same amount if neglect when it comes to looking after their own kids on holiday. My kids would either be with us at the restaurant or in bed with us watching over them eating a take-away. I'm also amazed by the emotional coldness of the pair - I would be a quivering wreck.

it is all very strange! and so many mixed stories: the shutters being broken, gerry said, however it was later realised they were broken already! the door being "off the hinges" yet later realised the door was left unlocked!! they said they checked every half hour, yet bar staff said they didn't leave their seats at all from 7pm intil 10pm when maddie was found missing! first report was that the tapas bar was "so close, you could see the appartment door from their table at the restaurant" yet later revealed that it was actually 50ft away with a huge swimming pool and hedge in between!!! all is becoming strange! nothing has been answered!!!!

There are so many "whys" and "whats" in this whole incident.
I think someone seriously needs to sit them down and find out the true facts.
There are so many variations of what happened from both parents as the story is changed again and again e.g the time intervals between check ups was changed between first and second interviews.
Thats whats making everyone suspicious.
It's time they were answered.
Thats the only way this is going to get solved.

All these questions should be answered my heart goes out to that poor child but it beggars belief that three children of that age could be left in that apartment on there own in the first place besides the abduction issue anything could have happened to them children they could have choked in there sleep, there could have been a fire anything it was totally irrisponsable of the perents to leave them unattended if it happend here they would be prosecuted or should be .

Why do we need to know? it seems certain people are obsessed with an absurd conspiracy theory involving the McCanns it becoming rather sick. What about the possible real villains Child Abductors and the network of paedophile rings? hardly any questions about that have appeared just a load of offensive and revolting attacks on the family. Yes they were irresponsible but that should not overshadow the evil scum who took the child . Lets not forget that.

No one knows what happened in their apartment. all we know for sure is that 3 very small children were left sleeping whilst their parents went to dinner at a bar a minutes walk away. You're right, all the details surrounding the event at that time seem very vague, and I find it hard to believe that no one saw or heard ANYTHING.

Surely these qre questions the police have asked, and been satisfied, with? If they thought that the McCann's were nvolved they would have been arrested by now.
I take it you are just being curious and have no professional interest in this? That you're not paid to ask these questions? And that someone else, actually, is. The police.
There's such a thing as being innocent until proven guilty.

Not only that...these two individuals are doctors. so common sense would have it that they would know not to disturb a crime scene. Now we hear that the family and friends were swarming all over the room before the police arrived, thus destroying potential evidence......somethings odd here isn't it ????
