I am a mother of 2 adult children and grandmother of 2 little boys, ages 4 and almost 2.
I worked for a large, multi-specialty medical group in Chicago for nearly 25 years as an Assistant Administrator and Director of Managed Care. Got burnt out about 8 years ago, quit my job and was going to take some time off before getting another position which was less stressful. My daughter then got engaged, married and had her two little boys and I am fortunate enough to be very involved in my grandson's lives as my husband and I take care of them when my daughter works part-time.
I live in Park Ridge, Illinois which is a suburb of Chicago.
(very close to Chicago, borders touching city limits)
When I was younger and working, I thought I was very cool,
now that I am older (60) -- I'm just nice with great memories and experiences, but no longer cool, but proud to be a Baby Boomer.

I'm a former MedLab technologist the went into the construction trade and built my own business of rehabbing homes. I went to two colleges and one University and seemed to always be going to school, it never ends.
I'm over seventy now and want to share my philosophy and ideas, experiences and knowledge with anyone that wants to listen. I am disabled now but can still think.
