Quote:
"What are the odds of finding a human population in another galaxy just like ours?"
- I think there is no chance of that, another galaxy, another planet will have different living conditions and conditions for life.
Quote:
"And why is it that God is always male?"
- You have to look at the cultures that defined what and who god is and how they were structured. The cultures were man dominated so they couldn't imagine god being anything but man. They also had issues with other cultures/religions around them and they wanted to make sure that they didn't mix, there is only one god and all that. The other cultures/religions often had goddesses and women of power.
Quote:
"If he is truly the God that we define in the bible, then why must he be worshiped?”
- Once again it fits the culture and the hierarchy in it. The men were the leaders and they demanded respect and that people would follow them. God is even greater than man so he has to be worshipped if things are done the right way.
Quote:
"Isn't being worshiped something that a vain man would want?"
- All we have is the words of men living a very long time ago. They guessed what god wanted and this is what we've got. Maybe it isn't wrong to be vain? Maybe god really doesn't want to be worshiped? Who knows?
Quote:
"Why must he be jealous? After all he is the almighty right? Or is he that insecure that he needs to be reassured that he is great and loved? Isn't jealousy a weak human trait"
- Male humans feel jealousy, the were created by god to be like him, so god has to be jealous too. If god that is allmight feels jealous he might do stupid things, just as humans do. We better make sure he never feels it or something bad might happen.
Quote:
"If he was truly here way before the big bang, then he would love everyone no matter who or what they worshiped, because everything that is here, he created, directly or indirectly."
- Do you love everything you have created and do you look after it? Look at your life and everything you have done, can you even remember all that you have done? Do you love every foot print that you have made? Every mistake? Every piece of trash? We are like god, god is like us...

Taking into the consideration that all of these are theories, I will introduce another theory that would fit right in for that. There is a theory that God's days are much longer than regular earth days for us. So there would be a huge time difference. That would create the possibility for God to make us in his image, after the big bang theory happened.
As for the other questions...
There are religions and science that both suggest that it is still possible to find life on other planets...even a human type population.
God may be male, but who says he does not have a wife, the Goddess, The Heavenly mother. He may not throw out her name to be disrespected by all of us. But as far as I was told that person exists which is why we were able to be created.
It depends how a person defines worship, vanity and jealousy.
Some people worship with the assumption that all they will ever be is lower beings. Some worship just out of respect for being created and the opportunity to be a God and create someday ....and all take it to different lengths and have different ideas on how to go about doing it.
Jealousy may or may not be a weak human trait depending on what kind and how severe. For instance, I may be a little jealous of someone for some reason, but not really feel any ill feelings about myself or anyone else. Just because I am jealous of someone does not mean I wish them harm or anything bad. I may even like or admire them myself.
It is kind of like anger I think. Anger a common human trait can be used constructively and can be used to create good. But the wrong kind of anger used the wrong way can destroy and hurt. So anger can make us stronger or hurt us and everyone around us.
As far as I always heard God does love everyone no matter who or what they worship, sinner or not, whether they love and respect him or not. I am sure there are many that do not believe as I do. But it only seems like common sense to me. If one of my kids does something really, really bad, I am not going to stop loving him or her because of it. Why would God ,especially when he would be so much more capable of loving than I am.

The bible was written by Men within the last 5ooo years and they could not have conceived of what we know today. Even assuming that the images were inspired by GOD, what possible context could they be framed in that the men of the age could understand and express?. How can you say we are in his image truly when the only known revelation was to MOSES.
Excuse my blasphemy but when I look in the mirror i don't see a burning bush. I see my face which is different from most others. I see a special and unique person.
I would take the prase to mean that we are taken from Gods image in the same way that an artist has an image in his head about what a painting or scupture will be.
I believe he had a plan certainly, but i don't believe it was to interfere with every detail. He set the heavens in motion and established the physical laws that govern all things. We have discovered some of them but we have much work to do before we will satisfy his ambition for us. We continue to learn from our experiences (evolve?) In the meantime we can only live a decent life and hope to see him one day.

You are so right in your thinking! Your type of thinking is what great minds are made of! Everything that you question should be questioned! By questioning one opens ones mind to infinity! When one opens ones mind to infinity the rewards are endless!! I will tell you a secret, and the only reason I am going to tell you this is because I sense your desire for knowledge! The secret is this......every living thing on the face of the earth contains the very same elements that the sun is made up of! Every living humans cells are bathed in salt water, every living thing is linked with every thing else, we are all one! When mankind as a whole comes to this realization, we as a species will truly have entered into the age of true enlightenment!! Realize that we are energy and energy can not be created nor destroyed!! We exist , past , present, and future, constant and infinitely!! Think beyond mans creations of god and religion and you will find true peace!

Religion is a man-made interface. I'm sure that each civilization, meaning us and any other sentient life forms out there in the universe has some religious theory that places themselves on top of the importance meter, instead of treating all life as one group. There can be 10 other forms of life that are more evolved/refined/advanced than us. To say that we are indeed the "chosen ones"is a mentality that had its need and purpose back in the day. To also say that God is running things in such a simple way is an insult to God (himself/herself/itself). When was it ever said that we operate on the same plane of being as God for us to know the answer to this, or to be able to comprehend or digest info. No one knows why we look/are the way we are. This belief of us being made in his image or us being his favorite pet, is solely for our own comfort.

you are right. what god is nobody knows or have not seen. Only realized.
God is no male no female.
God is refered as He because of literaterary limitations. we dont have anything more than He, in literature to call or refer him.
What you repeat to yourself is what you become. What we become internally will reflect in our evolution over period of time. This is the reason we need to repeat God's name & greatness so that the energy flow from him continues.
He loves everything he created that's why he does not destroy the soul, which is elemental for a living thing. without which life is not there. A person is dead not because a body is vanished because his soul or his breathe that is missing.

I've always understood God & the "big bang" to be totally opposite.
God = Creation
Big Bang Theory = evolution
God = Faith based
Big Bang Theory = scientific based

Just to give you something more to ponder;
Which is correct, biology or physics? Biology (evolution) states that entropy decreases into order, but physics states (thermodynamics) that entropy increases unless acted on by an outsides source.

Look at a photograph of yourself.
It is an image of you.
Does that image of you possess the same knowledge and abilities that you have?
We were created in the -image- of God.
