We've discovered a nice Corbieres, called Domaine de la Perriere - which you can find on the internet. Waitrose stocks it, for £3.99 a bottle it's very good.

The one that is open. I prefer a light Annie Green Springs potato wine with onion rings for an appetizer. Of course a sparkling fortified wine such as Thunderbird or Night Train can set just the right mood for the evening. If you are spending the evening at the bus stop. Pinot Grigio is a good choice. I like Pinot Noir. Oregon produces some very good bottles of it. The weather and soil are perfect for growing these grapes. Either variation of the Pinot grape is a good choice. Of course, if you want a fruity wine with a punch, you just can't beat MD 20/20. It is a wine even a mad dog could appreciate.

Lambrusco -- it's the only red wine that you can serve chilled. It's a sweet wine, and I absolutely love it. I also like Pinot Grigio and White Zinfandel.

My favorite whine is "When are we going to Miami?". Sorry - old joke. I like St. Emillion, which is a flavorful French red wine. For a white wine I like a Napa or Sonoma valley Chardonney.
