Mudkips can be good eating so long as they are not out of season. You want mudkips that have clean gills and bright, clear eyes, and only the ones caught in nets in any month with a G in it. Like Febuguary, for example, or Novembiger.
Try preparing your mudkips in the style of the Pennsylvania Dutch: after soaking in buttermilk a light egg wash, roll the muddies in crushed pretzels for tasty football-watching snackerooski!
