How to get Windows Media Player to open by itself?

when i play songs, windows media player does not open up, yet i can hear the music. Rather than having to manually open WMP, to view the song playing, can I have it automatically open up along w/ the songs. It used to not do this, but it does now x.x ...

See if it was minimized in the task bar. Check the preferences, maybe you changed something.
