TV/ magazine etc.
Just watching my friend in the background as her school was filmed in 'It's not easy being green', I've been on Back to the floor, saw an old school mate's wedding depicted in a mag recently, was just thinking that reality stuff is so popular and common place a far greater percentage of people must have had their '5 mins of fame' than ever before!

Two friends that are twins were in a television commercial when they were babies. I was just in a local paper holding a shotgun after taking a hunters safety course.
Three of my sisters were paid models in Sears, or Montgomery Wards ad. I was on the television for a news story about the Boulder Boulder running race. I got on camera twice, once at the start at the race and at then end because I knew where to stand. Problem is nobody saw me.
My Dad was in an Army Magazine and Newspaper.
My sister was on the Poop Deck Paul show. My second oldest sister was just on the news last winter when they did a broadcast from the Ski hill. My niece was in the background.
My nephew was on a billboard with another girl for being high school seniors of the year. He was in their local paper many times and so was his sister a couple times.
My Dad picked up Jack Kennedy at the Airport when he was a Senator and took him to the local Yacht Club for a campaign fund raiser.

My first brush with fame was about 17 years ago now, I think I'm still featured in the holiday brochure for Mablethorpe. I have a good mind to sue them as I have never received so much as a asking for permission/royalties et cetera and I'm sure I was the reason Mablethorpe became popular for a while! (Until it went down hill the last few years)
I remember being on the Beach, digging in sand, and a photographer being around me taking pictures, a bit creepy if you think about it in to days context. It wasn't authorised and impromptu. It was only a couple of years back I saw the brochure and was shocked to find thats me!
Er, also been filmed at schoo, and more recently at Race For Life almost running into the camera. :)

When I was in school many moons ago we did a science programme that was filmed for TV, I loved it and though I was really famous, ha, but I used to work for the media so my photo appeared in the newspaper and magazine I worked for on a regular basis.

Yes, I was featured in an article done by one of the major newspapers in 2003. It was a story about a different way to take birth control pills.

A few times. My band was in a magazine last month. It doesn't really make much difference to me though as no one comments on seeing me in them. I guess you have to point things out to people for them to really notice and it just seems weird to me when you do.
