Compete..
Read the lessons in advance..
You need to know the next lessons. You can ask your teacher of the next lessons.
Try to study not only on the day before of the exam.
Find short-cuts and patterns to easily remember things.
You can get techniques from your other classmates.
Use all your senses when you study for more input. Read with your mouth and try to write the things you are memorizing. In this way you are memorizing with your eyes, ears, mouth and hand.
With math you need alot of practice. Problems have patterns. Some problems are just the same but differ only with the numbers. Answer alot of problems and different kinds of problems. In that way you are already ready in different kinds of senario.
Do great with other things like projects and homeworks.

The only questions that are usually on exams are the questions from prior tests or recent assignments. I have always scored really high. I just make flash cards of this and go though them a couple times a day like when you are going to the bathroom or sitting at the park. Just carry them in your back pocket.

Thorough preparation covering all the syllabus/portion, maintaining time schedule, puncutality, a good handwriting and concentration will help u achieving higher marks ...
A bit of luck is also needed but these marks and ranks matter less in general. What exactly desired is great loads of knowledge, that u can utilise in ur future, when u grow up, for better life .....

all try but only one could be there....all starts from the same point and crosses most of the stages together but it is the last few marks who makes the difference...so actually the difference is how u finish things off...some takes good start but never reaches....some takes good starts and carry on as well...but there are few who takes good start, carry on well and finish things off in style....try to be in the third category and u will be there.....if u start this way u won't get much time for Y! Answer.....LOL

do your preparation with your text books. for example: - if u watch 10 adds on a movie you doesn't get full information about that movie. but if watch that movie once fully you will get full information. so instead of reading question and answers, you better to read the text book completely then you can understand the full lesson then u can answer any question analytically. then you will be the number one.
best of luck.

I guess you really have to study hard for it. Try hard to understand and memorize by heart. Also, for English subject, you really have to improve on your grammar (no offense meant). I admire people who really aim high on their studies. Their parents work hard for their education and it's quite appreciative when their children give due importance to their studies. Keep it up!

Keep trying, don't give up: your competition is with yourself, and not with the others! They are probably not cheating, their answers are as of now, a shade better than yours, they are the best answers! Persevere, and you will achieve your target soon! all the best!

Color Code items, sing 'em, and rhyme them.....this always helps me. Also do the questions backwards. like ask the answer instead of the question......
