I would define good as credible and recognizable by companies worldwide. Also, is it better to have your company sponsor you? How do you go about doing this?

There is a huge range, from public universities, which may charge less than $10,000, to executive MBAs in private universities - a Harvard MBA will cost you about $90,000 right now.

Of course, if your company will sponsor you, it has advantages. The problem is that fewer and fewer companies do this these days, and those who do often restrict the amount they will pay so that it turns out only to cover a small part of the costs. If you are working at a company you plan to stay with, ask at your Human Resources office if they offer this benefit. The downside to company sponsorship is that the assumption is usually that you will stay with them at least for a while after graduating. If you were planning to get a job with a new company out of the MBA, sponsorship won't work for you.
