I know that in general, society frowns on inter-racial dating but what sort of person would do that?

My ex-lover did this to me. I was a different race and a different age group (I'm older than him). He denied knowing me when I told his friends about being lovers. They all laughed at me because I was upset about it. He also said I was crazy.

Warning! East Indian men are just as racist as any other racist individual even though they are a minority in the U.S. They are the new and improved "uncle toms".

Okay your ex was a jerk-off.I don't think anyone should do anything that they could not admit to anyone. So what if a person dates outside I don't think neither of the two who are dating need that kind of selfish behavior from the other. beside what does this world have to do to find people accpectable screw until where all the same color!!!!!!!!!!
I hope this helped

I wouldnt but the person that would do that has some insecurities and some prejudice. They are seemling trying to save face and look good for their friends. There are lots of reasons. I think its stupid though when you make a decision you have to live with it and you cant change the past.

I'm dating a dreat guy who isn't from the same backround as me, we are both christians though(non practacing). I just wouldn't date someone who is muslim though I just don't feel that we would have anything in common, if the relationship went far as in marriage muslims don't get married in a church and they don't baptise their children, so we would totally clash. Other than that I would date any race who was anthing but muslim.

I'm married but if I wasn't I definitely would date outside my race if I was interested in the guy. I certainly wouldn't deny it to my friends, I share pretty much everything with them. If some of them didn't approve of it then screw 'em.

No. Personally, I'm attracted to women of all races, I have friends of other races. Not saying that there's folks who will be happy about it (I'm black, and there's this stigma about it depending on who you talk to). Besides, the fact that I have dated ANYONE (regardless of race, gender or gender identity), will elicit reactions of shock and disbelief.

No why would I do that?
I am comfortable dating what ever I want.
My boyfriend is French and I couldn't be happier.
We do everything together and we are in-love!

I would not deny it. To me it sounds normal. (What is wrong with dating another human??? Would they prefer you date a rock?)
Perhaps where you live they are bigots. If so, they are not your friends.

I would never deny it. Why date someone if your going to be ashamed of it. I am engaged to a Portuguese/Mexican woman and I am so proud to be with her, I would never deny it to anyone.
