Even though I'm gay, I still have a close relationship with god. I mean why does people keep telling me that I cant be a christain and be gay also? People make me feel like a lump of nothing mistaken waste of matter on this planet. I just dont see how I can stop having feelings for guys, the feelings are too trong. One time I even tried taking so medication that will mess up my brain hoping it will knock it towards liking girls, but that didnt help. Every night I pray to god, I even talk to god during the day, but people act like I deserve to die.

I'm a lesbian, I'm out to all my friends and family so is my wife and we are both Christian's and we love the Lord. There are Christian churches out there that will accept you you just have to look for them. Ignore all the ignorant people who tell you that you can't be gay and a Christian if you would like to carry this conversation further e-mail me teresacmt@yahoo.com.

A couple of years ago, I watched a show called '30 days' - by the guy who did the doco the other year only eating McDonalds for 30days.
In this one particular episode, a guy from one of the services went to live with a gay guy in San Francisco for 30days. The gay guy was a Christian and went a Gay church.
I don't know what things are like where you live, but if its a bigger city than there may be a gay church in your area and that is an option for you to look into. There is nothing wrong with being gay and a Christian - you have to follow you heart and do what ya feel is right. Don't think that you have to give up one of those things cause of the other.

I will not tell you that it is part of Gods plan, you know it is not. I was gay all my life, then found forgiveness before I could stop being gay. What do I think of that, well I think all of Gods children will be reached according to Gods will, so keep praying and tell God you love him and you want always to do his will, and be patient because we all need help don't we.

By the way I did learn that being gay is not something we were born with, but as small children many of us were influenced by the same gender, innocently often, and we started liking the same gender even before we knew it was wrong. We brainwashed are selves from early ages, even if we can not remember it.

Whoa dude! Hold on a minute!

You love God, then isn't that the bottom line? I am Bisexual and I have loved God for over 20 years! No one can take that from you. No one!

So love God-- He's the some one that I love too, and let everyone else die. They obviously don't know God and we obviously do. If God doesn't want you to be Gay, then He will make it that way. But I'll bet that God knew what you were before you were ever born.

So don't waste your time with those Pharisees. They suck with pride. You and me, well we don't have to look very far to see that we are not perfect. So humbleness comes with humiliation. If it gets me closer to God then humiliate me. I win with God every time! It can be the same for you!

You and I are brothers in Christ. See you when we get there! ( :

I am gay and I believe in God. It's a very simple thing to do. Something like how straight people can believe in God and still curse and lie and steal and cheat and have pre-marital . One thing that I have learned about society is that they believe in their own "truths". This means that they decipher information and accept what they agree with and reject what they don't This amazes me because I don't see how it's possible to know that homosexuality is a sin but to skip pass the do not pass judgement section. Whoever tells you that you cannot believe in God and be gay ask them where it says that in the bible. If I'm not mistaken the bible says "whosoever seeks the Lord shall be answered and whosoever believes in the Lord your God shall be saved". God loves everyone from the fornicator to the . So continue to seek God and ask him to take the homosexuality from you. Tell Him that you cannot do it alone and you need His help. Call out to Hom in all sincerity, and he will answer and give you all of your heart's desires. God bless you baby, and good night (morning :) )

There are heaps of gay Christians. Check out the Church's in your area and see if any of them seem really welcoming to homosexuals.
I know a church in my city does an inclusive service that a lot of Christan gays attend. If you could find other christian gays to spend some time with and talk to it may help you really understand that it's OK to be Gay and god will still love you, it will also be a nice step towards coming out and having the support of people who you can really relate to.

I'm sorry that you are having troubles dealing with this but you can't help who you like and taking medication will only make things worse. Two things you should keep in mind: God stresses unconditional love and he does not judge people. I do not care what other religious people have to say, God will love you just the same no matter what your sexual preference is. Don't deny yourself the right to happiness just because you are afraid of what people will think of you.

You can be gay and still be christian... Maybe just maybe that god had it planned for you to be gay, did you think of that... God has a plan for everyone even though it may not seem like it all the time... Just keep your faith in the fact that everything happens for a reason...

i know exactly what you mean n how you feel. im also a christian and gay. i recently came out to sum of my friends and it is hard to deal w/ those who think gays are goin to hell. i found god before i came to terms w/ me being gay. when i finally accepted the fact that i was gay, i tryed to change...i prayed to god to take away the feelins i felt n to turn me straight. after a while, i realized that god didnt change me because he made me the way he wished me to be--gay. this is sumthin you hav to realize...all those people who tell us we're goin to hell for bein gay are all wrong. i know this because i hav spoken to god. he has made me who i am...he has made it so that i would go through all my troubles so that i can be the better person i am today. dont give in too everyone else's opinion. you urself say to speak w/ god..and so should know he had made each and everyone of us the way he intended...its up to us to realize that and to live our lives to the fullest. many relitious people like to use the bible to back up their believes, but my responce is from the same reference they're usin.

"Jesus said their is but one comandment, Love one another as i have loved you."

"condemn not, and you shall not be condemned" --luke 6:37

"God will treat people exactly as they treat those whom they judge." --matt 7:1,2

"God is love, and anyone who doesn't love others has never known God" --1 John 4:8

"In the sermon on the maunt, Jesus taught that sin lies within people's attitude rather than their actions." --matt 5:21-30

best of luck and i hope i have said sumthin that might help you :)

I would suggest joining another church. There's many out there that support homosexuality.

And remember, Jesus preached love, not hate. If your "Christian" peers are bashing gays, they're not following God's Word. And when they try to use the verse in Leviticus against you, remind them about the other laws in there. The ones that ban eating pork and the wearing of clothing of two types of fiber (such as a cotton-polyester blend).
