That's a rather open-ended question, but here are a few guidelines that I've read about:
(1) Keep the names of a similar origin/style - not one old-fashioned and one modern, etc.
(2) Don't do the rhyming thing.
(3) If you use the same first letter for the first name, give them middle names with different first letters. Makes it much easier when they're older with government papers, etc.
(4) If you have one name picked that you really like, just go with it and find one that works with it.

We are having the same issue. We have a girls name, but struggling for an appropriate boy name. I do suggest that you give each child their own identity, meaning don't name them with the same initials or names that sound similar. We are using family names for middle names, my dad and his mom, but other than that, I want them to both have strong names that will carry them into a professional career one day when they are older. Naming twins has been harder than we thought...good luck to you!

my advice is to just go to a baby name website such as babynames.com and browse through the names and make a list of what you like. Everyone will have their own name style and noone can give you anything but opinions. Maybe narrow it down to a few selections and then ask us. Also, just as a matter of opinion I wouldnt name them "cutesy" rhyming names, because they are individual children. Good luck on your name searching and let us know what you choose! May you have two healthy happy babies!
