Try this exercise (by yourself, when you're feeling calm):
Remember a time when someone or something made you angry, and you reacted hastily; a time when you regretted the way you acted.
Think about that situation as though you are watching yourself, and how you would like to see yourself react. Then play out that situation in your mind (as though you are there, in the situation, not just watching this time), and respond in that way. Think about whether you are satisfied that that situation could be resolved without you losing your temper.
I have resolved issues with anger management using this method; it is frustrating at first but ultimately successful. The key is being able to see yourself the way others see you, and understand how they felt, especially if they were getting frustrated with the way you acted towards them.
If your anger is causing serious issues in your life, consider seeking counseling in order to more quickly identify the source of your problem and minimise its impact on your life.

You do need to vent it somehow--you shouldn't keep it bottled in, but these are things that are unhealthy and you need to find ways to not feel them.
If you are religious I would suggest prayer. This will help when you understand how God feels about anger and hatred. The worst thing about hatred and anger is that they are far more destructive to us than they are to other people.

Let go.
Hatred & anger hurt you more than the focus of your hatred or anger.
You just let go. You don't let it get to you. You choose to be calm. You choose to take a deep breath. You choose to let things roll of your back. It can be difficult but it can be done. It's like loosening a tight knot in your stomach. In fact, visualize your anger that way. Then imagine yourself loosening the knot, letting it go. You may actually feel anger in your stomach. Take a deep breath. With each exhalation, imagine letting the anger go. Get it out of you.
It's just not worth it. Don't let things get to you. You can train yourself to calm down & stop getting angry. It just takes practice & dedication.

The best way is to offload on someone else's shoulder and talk about it or find a mode of expressing yourself like art or working out.
If you keep it all bottled in its gonna come out someday- in a big way!!

you must first conquer yourself before you conquer anger. Do not be attached to anything and you will not care if you lose anything, Accept the world for what it is and be impartial to life and death.
I would read sayings of Guatama Siddratha for more answers.

paint, write, journal, fish, work , fill the emptiness with meaning full hobbies and pastimes. If you are busy you do not have time to be mad and hateful.Remove yourself from that which makes you mad.
