There's not just the itch factor to consider when it starts to regrow. If you shave it completely smooth, there is the ingrown hair factor, which hurts like hell and causes boils to form!! OUCH, and YUCK when the boils burst! So, if you want red sores and oozy pus instead of hair in your groin area, then go ahead and shave it!

I agree with everyone else that it would probably be itchy if you shaved it and the hair started to grow back. Like other people said, you could trim it or remove it completely but it's all up to you. The less hair you have, the more clean/sanitary it will feel. If you do decide to remove all the hair, it's better to wax it than shave it. I know it sounds painful (which it is) but after a while you get used to it. Waxing is better because the hair takes a lot longer to grow back than when you shave it. Also, it leaves the skin really smooth and soft. You don't get all that stubble that's associated with shaving. When the hair grows back eventually, it grows back finer, so each time you shave it, it's less painful and easier to manage. The only drawback about waxing though is that you have to watch out for ingrown hairs (which can be prevented by exfoliating) and some people are allergic to the wax. Like everyone else said, it's up to you though.

Shaving pubic hair will not have an adverse effect on you. However, it may cause some irritation to the surrounding skin a day or so afterwards as the skin is so sensitive there, but this should settle down also in a couple of days. If it does bump up and itch try soothing it with talc or Savlon.

Shaving will make it grow more. Women often get hairy legs by shaving. At trim is probably best. It grows to attract attention to that part of the body when we wore no clothes.
It the end it will grow everywhere even on your back.
I have heard waxing is the solution, but I do not know if it is true when this is repeated 3 or more times it stops growing. Its a gay or nudist thing but its getting more widespread, originating in India and Muslim world.
I have seen some hair removal creams available on sex sites - i do not know how effective that is.
At 20 its up to you at sixty you will probably look like a gorilla.

Its fine to shave, if you do get a prickly feeling (excuse the pun) a few days after it's just some of the stubble rubbing against the skin (no problem).

Best is to get a body hair trimmer (Philips do a rechargeable, advertised by shaving some gooseberry's - draw your own conclusions)

With attachments, these are quick, easy and safe. Once done make your own mind up, over time the hair density will return to normal.

Good luck !

i`m 20 years old and i shave my pubic hair its nice and clean, makes it look bigger, smooth and girls love it. Shaving your pubic hair has no side affects, but if ask some men they will say its gay but all you have to say is that "my girlfriend loves my penis and when she`s giving me head there pubic hair in her mouth".
in conclusion 100% good and 100% recomened

I hope this has been helpful

I think shaving's something that I wouldn't recommend for reasons cited by most - regrowth, itching, chance of ingrowing hairs, etc. but I certainly would recommend getting some clippers and keeping it short and tidy. Easier to keep clean, no problems with itching and no chance of ingrowing hair.

...oh, and it'll make Little Wesley W look a bit bigger too!

All you girls out there too! Go Ahead!
Let all these perves pretend they are with little prepubescent girls!
Is it really worth all the trouble to wear out 10 razors to do that crap?

When it gets to your knees, ask your barber for advice...

Otherwise, carefully trim it short but not too short. Maybe 2cm long is enough.

If you shave, the coarse hair regrowth is itchy and quite prickly if you move around too much.

It's designed to wick sweat away from the body and it's really just personal preference.

Don't use depilatory creams.

Close shaving of pubic hair and gentle massage will result in increased circulation and there by more strength for penis for deep penetration. It is more hygenic. It you want to grow there is no harm.Trimming is another option.
