I think its funny how people do not answer the question by saying they will be in jail. Carson Palmer, most accurate quarterback, Chad Johnson, led the AFC in receiving the past 4 seasons. Rudi Johnson, gets solid yards and is in the top for yards over the past few years. TJ Houshmandzadeh is a clutch receiver who always catches it when its thrown across the middle of the field. They will have a top 3 offense. The defense is whats going to make or break them. If there defense can hold teams to just 3 touchdowns then the Bengals will win every game. Jonathan Joseph is in his second year and will have a breakout year like he started to last year. Deltha is two years removed from a Pro Bowl and will return to form now that he is 100 percent healthy. Leon Hall will be a solid nickelback for 3rd downs. The linebacking core is solid. Ahmad Brooks will lead the way, Odell Thruman will be back and help at weakside linebacker. Landon Johnson, Ed Hartwell will both help the linebacking core. The defensive line is getting better. Second year player Peko will play more of a part and helped greatly last year. Geathers and Smith are solid defensive ends. Michael Myers can help at defensive tackle, he isnt the biggest but does have speed. Williams and Jackson at safety, the Bengals will have a good team. They will win the division and contend for a Superbowl. They will not have any offield problems because like AJ Nicholson, one wrong move and they will be cut, bottom line. I think they go 12-4 and again will contend for a Superbowl.

I'm picking them at 10 or 11 wins like 2 years ago, AFC North champion
Like 2 years ago they have an easier schedule and their offensive firepower should get them the extra 2 wins. I mean, come on, Colts and Patriots or Titans and Jets. It's pretty obvious which is the tougher pair of opponents.
I think the similarities between the Bengals and the Saints are pretty amazing. Both are teams with a long history of 8-8. Both have a lot of offensive firepower and almost no defense to support it. Both teams depend heavily on the pass but have reasonable runners as well. Last year the Bengals were the trendy pick and this year the Saints are.
Both teams look very schedule dependent. I think the Saints go back to 8-8 again and the Bengals go back up to 10-6 based upon schedule strength.

I see the Bengals as AFC North Champs this year, and a first round bye in the playoffs. I think 12-4 or 11-5 at worst, but only if they play some defense this year. Carson Palmer will be the MVP. Chad Johnson will be on fire all year.

I believe despite the off the field problems they will have a fine season. I expect them to win the division and make a little run in the playoffs. Bengals Def. was horrible last year but if they can get some kind of production out of their Def. they should do well. That Offense is very hard to defend. 10-6

The Cincinatti Police Department will be very busy. Other than the arrests, its up to wether or not Pollack and Thruman can return. If Leon Hall and Jonathen Joseph can be shutdown corners then this defense will be pretty good. The offense will be soooo much better with Kenny Irons in the mix at running back, no worries Palmer will make someone a new 3rd receiver, hes just that good. If that long haired DT from Michigan State can do well at DT then they gotta shot!

9-7 or 8-8. they have too many troublemakers and they just keep on drafting them.marvin lewis needs to cut these guys like chris henry, even though hes an excellent reciever, and get guys who can stay out of trouble.they need defensive help.their offense can be the most explosive in football but chad johnson needs to show up every game.after this season i say fire marvin and cut all your trouble makers.they would still have a hell of a team.
