Before you do anything, keep this in mind: bring the doe to the buck. after you put them in the cage wait to see if they arent fighting. then leave them alone for about 20 min. then take the doe rabbit out and put it back in her cage.

PUT IN MIND: RABBIT GESTATION PERIOD= 30 DAYS.
That means thirty days after the date she may possibly have babies. At the 25 day mark put in what you call a "nest box".
It is a box that has a square base, slanted on both sides, and has a 2 in. board on top. KEEP IN MIND SHE MAY HAVE THEM ANYTIME NEAR THE GESTATION PERIOD. If you have further questions contact me.

I've been raising and showing rabbits for 25 years, and so far you haven't really gotten much in the way of good answers.

When you mate rabbits, you are supposed to put the female (doe) in the pen of the male (buck). The reason this is done is because the buck will have already marked his own territory in the pen and will be focused on breeding the doe and not on marking the pen with the scent from his glands under his chin.

It only takes a few seconds for a buck to breed a doe. Sometimes it can take a minute or two and other times you no more than put the doe in with the buck and he's done.

There is an easy way to tell if your doe has been bred. The buck will mount the doe. When the doe is close to being bred, the doe will raise her rear end up right before being bred. When the buck breeds her, he will make a grunting noise and curl up on her back, then sometimes he will fall off her. Once you hear the grunt of the buck and see him curling up on top, the deed is normally done. Once that happens it is time to pull the doe out of the pen. Don't leave her in the pen for a day or two. That is not good for either rabbit's health as they will tend to fight and run around the pen after each other, causing them to loose weight and possibly cause sore hocks.

Rabbits are called induced ovulators because the doe will produce eggs to be fertilized by the buck's semen about 8 hours after the two have mated. That is why many people that show rabbits will stick the doe back in with the buck about 8 hours later. It increases the chances that the mating will be effective and it can also increase the litter size.

Normally, it is a good idea to check the doe back with the buck about 3 days later to see if she acts like she is bred. Normally, if she is bred she will run around the pen like crazy an start grunting and sometimes she will fight back. But the main thing is she will act different than she did the first time.

The other way of checking is by palpating the rabbit. This is harder to do even for experienced rabbit breeders. But it is done about 14 days after the initial mating. Two to three fingers are pushed up into the rabbit's abdomen to feel for the babies. The person needs to push fairly firm to feel for them. At 14 days, the babies should be round and about the size of a marble or grape.

Right at 28 days after the breeding is when you should stick in the nestbox. The doe will typically have the babies right at 30 days. If she doesn't have them by the end of the 32nd day she will not have them and you can pull the nestbox out.

Rabbits only milk about once to twice a day. So don't expect to see her milking once she has the babies. Normally they milk late at night when most people are asleep.

There's no need to bring more rabbits into this world if they're not pedigree and being used for the love of show. If you want more pet rabbits, there are a load of them just sitting in small cages at shelters. Depending on the size and breed of your rabbit, you can have from 2-20 babies. Are you prepared to keep that many?

And to answer your question, if she's in heat, and is ready, it'll all be done in 10 seconds. He'll mount her, and for the most part, if the breeding is successful he'll squeal and fall off. You do not place the male back into the cage. Some breeders "check" two weeks after they mate their rabbit buy re-breeding. This isn't all that great of an idea, as rabbits can just keep mating, and she can carry multiple litters. At about 2-3 weeks you'll be able to feel the babies in her stomach. She'll also be moody and wont want to be handled. Don't forget to put in the nest box at 2/3 weeks as well.

First off, I would get your self a really good rabbit book.
If your confused now, then your going to be confused when mom starts pulling hair, only going with her babies at night, leaving the babies out of the nest and not putting them back. You could loose babies, so research that part and know what your really in for.

You need to put your bunnies together for as long as it takes. Watch them, put the female into the males cage. You will know that he has "penetrated" her when he makes a noise and flops off of her. Let him do this a few times.

Take the female out, wait a few days and put them back together. If she acts mean or negative she is probably pregnant if not, let them mate again. And so on.

The gestation for a rabbit is about 30 days. She will not give birth with you around and she will only ever feed in the early early am and the late evening, not around you or in light. If one gets out of the nest, she WILL NOT put it back in the nest you must or it will die.

Good Luck with this and take my advise research the actual birthing part.

If she is in "heat", it shouldn't take that long, and once the deed is done, you should remove the male from the cage. (or what ever you are keeping them in.
In most cases it is okay to leave the male in with the female for a few days. If the female starts to run from the male and shows aggression towards him, it could mean that:
1. She is not interested in mating with him.
2. She is pregnant so any more mating with him is not required.
When she shows the signs of aggression towards him, it is definitly time to remove him. If you don't, she will fight with him and could possibly hurt not only him but herself as well.
I would make absolutely sure that you can find good homes for the bunnies once they are old enough to leave the mother.
If you are not going to find homes for them, then I would hope that you are either going to keep them for your own enjoyment or that you intend to show the rabbits.
Most people think that little bunnies are adorable (which they are), however, when it comes to taking care of a full grown rabbit, they lose interest rather quickly. This means that they are either going to let the rabbit go outside to fend for themselves, or that they will bring it to their local animal shelter. PLEASE be responsible and think long and hard about letting your rabbits breed.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.
