The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.
I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.
Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can. Here are some book titles that are relevant:
* Starting an Online Business For Dummies, 4th Edition by Greg Holden
* How to Start and Maintain A Successful Online Business by Kelly Thornton
* The Complete E-Commerce Book: Design, Build, and Maintain a Successful Web-Based Business by Janice Reynolds
There are plenty of free informational resources out there. Check the source box for links to articles.
Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

That is a very valid question. I run a company that is closely affiliated with an Incorporation Company (which you will need to do) and a Domain Hosting company (which you will need to use to get your website, shopping cart) and I run a Credit Card Processing service which can help you out online, and we will beat anyones rates. Email us at Sales@firstbankcardprocessing.com for more information and I can help you get going with the three things you need most. A website, Incorporating/LLC, accepting online payments.

Hi there. We bought one from the US which really kicked started our business. It basically comes with 4 easy to read books. How to find a hot product to sell on the internet, How to set up your online store for maximum sales, How to drive qualified buyers to your site and advanced selling techniques. Cannot post the links here as it is a violation of Yahoo policy Just reply and I'll send it on. I'll also send the link to a company that will supply a domain name, site builder, hosting and email accounts for $10 per month. Talk soon. Denise.
