There're 4 kinds to determine if they are similar.

SAS, ASA, AAS, SSS.

15/10=12/8, and they have the same reflexsive angles, so this fomular SAS fits.

The have two corresponding sides with the same ratio

10/15 = 8/12 = 2/3

And the same included angle by virtue of vertical angles.
