When you can support her financially. Are you willing to do that for her? To give your time, money, talents for her welfare? And if she doens't want to work outside of the home, is that okay? The key to knowing if you are ready to take this woman that you absolutely CANNOT live without, is wanting to give your life for her.
If she is giving, laughs at your jokes, beautiful to you, has a good attitude, is flexible and ABOVE all respects you, you have found a rare jewel.
When you know that you can answer yes to all those questions, then I would say you have found your woman.
Of course, on her side, she needs to feel the same for you.

On the other hand;If she's moody, controlling, selfish, stubborn, irresponsible, disrespects you (especially in public) run as fast as you can the opposit way.

Think about what your life would be like without her in it,what would you be doing . You have a best friend and a lover now and best of all you never have to go home alone or sleep by yourself ever again. Having someone next to you at night is one of the best feelings in the world. As far as the answer goes when you no in your heart you don't want to be without her and you put her before your friends and always take her feelings into consideration before doing anything that might hurt her then my man you are ready.
