He can't kill her or put her in danger. In my opinion thats the only restriction. I also could not be with a man that would force me to be with others because I believe I am for him and him alone.

There should absolutely be limits! A husband should have no authority over his wife. And not the other way around either. By using the word "authority", it is indicating that one is above or better than the other. Marriage is a partnership. You cannot have one person above or better than the other in a partnership because it ceases to be a partnership.

- a man should never raise his hands in anger.

- he should not limit her right to be her own person. This includes trying to control what she reads, who she socializes or associates with. if he disaproves, she should let him have his say and see if she can be persuaded otherwise.

- the ideal marriage is where the husband and wife respect each other, and value each others opinions and ideals.

- the thought of my husband contolling my life the way you talk about your ideal partner is frightening to me. Mutual respect for each other is what keeps us going after all these years...

Marriage isn't about a dominating authority figure--man or wife. It's about a common "oneness"--each relies on the other's input.

A marriage is a partnership 50/50. It is two people coming together that want to spend the rest of their lives with each other. I hate all this the man is the head of the household crap. It is ridiculous. A marriage should be equal.

No,a woman must give herself over to her Husband and be subservient in every way. Any other method of attempting marriage will utterly futile. A woman must understand that her Husband owns her and she is his property, thus she must willingly submit to his will under ALL circumstances.Thank you for your informative and intelligent question.

He should never tell her when she has to go to bed, cause she didn't marry her mommy, he should never treat her like a daughter, no matter what the age difference, cause she didn't marry her daddy.
