Most of the prostitutes get tricked by thinking the pimp is there friend or lover, someone they can trust & will have there back. They are psycollogically trained......then they cant let go or get away. I used to work at a strip club I knew alot of them & most were just normal people, you would have never guessed until you seen them get degrated. The ones I knew had no friends, no one to trust or turn to, they came from a broken home....all they had were the people they worked with.

The pimps typically get them hooked on drugs to keep them or just trap them psychologically into thinking they have no way out.
