#6 - Bill Belichick - Has done wonders in the era of free agency, has lost many players but keeps winning.

#5 - Marty Schottenheimer - Won Where ever he has coached and is a player's coach, has made sucessess out of Bill Cowher, Herm Edwards, Tony Dungy, Marvin Lewis, and Lovie Smith to name a few.

#4 - Bill Parcells - Also has won where he has coached but has a couple of rings. Also produced Bill Belichick, Sean Payton and Tom Coughlin.

#3 - Tied between Tom Landry and Chuck Noll - Both had a stranglehold on the 1970's and brought the Cowboys and the Steelers from nothing the household powerhouses.

#2 - Vince Lombardi - Dominated the 1960's and pretty much helped bring football to what we know it as today...they named the superbowl tropy after him for crying out loud.

#1 - Bill Walsh - Check out this coaching tree...
George Seifert, Mike Holmgren, Mike Shanahan, Ray Rhodes, Dennis Green, Sam Wyche, Jim Fassel, Paul Hackett, Andy Reid, Steve Mariucci and the list goes on...

under him the 49ers won Super Bowl championships in 1981, 1984 and 1988 and should get credit for 1989 who was won by george seifert after walsh retired but was still his team. Walsh served as 49ers head coach for 10 years and during his tenure he and his coaching staff perfected the style of play known popularly as the West Coast offense.

You start and stop with Bill Walsh. He was coach and/ or Presidient for all 5 Super Bowl titles in SF. He is the Genius!, Next I would go with Don shula, Paul Brown, Mike Holmgreen, and Al Davis.
