Dance has always been used for celebration in Jesus's day. in one account Jesus turns water into wine for a wedding. We would only have to assume that in celebrations there was dancing. Lord know I dance when I'm drunk. (John 2:1-9)
It has also says in Exodus 15:20, that it was also used for the worship of Jesus' father Jehovah.
I'm full convinced that it would be perfectly fine with Jesus and his father for you to break dance. If it's good enough for them it's good enough for me.
What's the worst that could happen, you burn in hell for all eternity?

I think it's a problem when ANYONE learns to Break dance, it's not the sort of thing that one should do. It has no redeeming social value.

Actually, that's pretty cool! Breakdancing's pretty cool no matter who else you are at the same time.
Like, I'm classically trained musician and I really like the formality of the stage, but for a while I went to breakdancing...um..."battles" i think it's called haha. It was weird contrast, but fun!
Good luck!
And in response to the swearing thing someone else says, most the music isn't actually rap. All it needs is a good solid beat. :)

Absolutely not. I for some reason thought of Akon and that young "lady"... I think there's nothing wrong with learning. And it sure has absolutely nothing to do with religion.
