They like the light just like moths to flames, i find a fly sometimes on my screen but i just put it out side cause i dont like bugs

My guess is, besides being attracted to the light of the monitor, it's also the heat. If you have all the lights and the TV off, the flies also flock to the monitor. This is the easiest time to squash them because they act hypnotized.
