how do i get munchlax on pokemon diamond version?

people say honey trees but when i check my pokedex it says area unknow can somebody help me?

Munchlax is a hard pokemon to capture and encounter. You'll need to spread the honey on the trees to make him come and most likely you'll get another type like combee.

Another way to get Munchlax however, is to trade over a snorlax from firered/leafgreen and give it a lax incense and put it in the daycare with a ditto. Wait a while and come back and get the egg (it will take 10,000 steps to hatch however!)

The only other way is to breed your starter or other starter and put it up for grabs in the GTS for a munchlax. (This way is quite effective) however, you'll probably have to wait a day and perhaps longer.

I've been hearing the same thing. You know how theres 2 trees next to that 1 town that starts with a C? Well i think you can spread the honey on one of the trees and get him if you time it right. Thats all I can say right now.

You have to get it from Honey Trees, but it's extremely rare. I've tried once a day for two weeks on EIGHT different trees, and still I haven't gotten one.

Just keep trying.

the pokedex wont show where they appear cause they only appear in the trees so just put honey on as many trees and u will eventually find it.
