Mine weren't and I learned about it in all the wrong places. I don't know how old you are or where you live, but usually they teach you about this kind of stuff in school. If you have a specific question, feel free to ask.

My parents were not! and I belong to a generation where even thinking about sex was difficult. There was no such thing as sex education. I suggest that you go to the library and sit there and read a book or two on the subject. Ask the Librarian if she can recommend a book to meet your needs.

Try sitting your parents down and explaining that you need to know this information.
If they just won't give you the answers you need then go to another trusted adult: maybe a teacher or a pastor or just someone else you feel comfortable with.

mine weren't but thats why i'm trying to be with my daughter. i think she is around the right age, 12 but my hubby says it's too soon. but one of her friend has all ready done it, she says so i want her to know she can come to me
can you talk to a teacher, friends mom, or maybe the nurse or some one else you can trust?
i personally wouldn't want to get all my knowledge of sex from the intranet, you never know when some one is lying.
it might be hard but find some one you can talk to face to face, some one older, hopefully. sometimes your friends don't know everything too.
good luck!!

My father only.
I couldn't ask my mother any questions. She had some funny answers.
Update:
That's why it is good for the school to provide sex education for those kids that have uneducated parents!

No my dad is the only one here to tell me about it and he is not ever going to. My aunt says the usual, don't have sex in high school, don't let boys control your life stuff like that, I know, use protection and what condoms are, duh and *blush* I look things up too XD
