to answer "hey you" question: lm not afraid cause like somebody else said: its easier for somebody to stalk you at the mall or anywhere else than online so i dont get why people are afraid.but i dont know how to put it here and not sure if i want you guys to see me:D

Not afraid per se, but I like my privacy and I'd rather not have images of myself floating around that can be tampered with. Allison Stokke, anyone? =)
It's bad enough that our pictures our being taken without our knowledge. I was in a mall recently and a guy near me was holding his phone towards me while I was in line. Then I heard "click." He took my picture without my permission! But I figured if he was weird enough to do that I didn't want to see what would happen if I confronted him, so I just walked away.

I don't really care if people see me or not yeah I have some apperance problems but so what I just like the look of my avatar

No, because it's like saying you're afraid of going out in public. If people are afraid of identity theft on online stalkers, don't you think it would be just as easy to have a stalker at the mall? I don't get it...

yes! because i took any internet safety class in school and there are ppl who take those pics and post the face on a naked body and actually sell those pics to other pervs!andi dont want that kind of a pic on the internet of me even it it isnt real. i dont remember how they did it all but they showed us( not with a naked body though!! thank god!!)

nope not really - alot of people don't talk to ya if they don't know what u look like - little annoying but... also I wouldn't anybody getting the wrong idea about what I look like - I am an honest person

No Im not thats why I put real pics every time. I dont know anyone anyways...What do I have to lose? You can tell when they are fake pics anyways.

Yes!! For starters I'm afraid someone I know might recognize me, (ex- teachers I hated, my cousin, my uncle, ex-classmates who were mean to me, ex-friends). And also, because I'm afarid that someone might ask me where I live and try to meet me somewhere and kidnap me!
