I buy candy and bottled drinks at a convenience store and then if I'm really hungry I get fast food (no drink) at the closest place to the theater and stick it in my purse. Wait until the lights go down and enjoy my semi-warm food.That's the only way I can justify spending $11 to see something I don't want to wait to see on Netflix.

My kids always ask for food so l have no choice but to buy for them even if the prices are horrendous. l don't eat when l go alone in cinemas. Not that l'm stingy. l just want to focus on the actor's dialogues and eating distracts me.
lt's sometimes better to be by myself.

We are lucky enough to have a cinema that plays current movies for only a fraction of the cost. My son and I can go, pay for two adult tickets, a large pop each and a large popcorn to share for $16.

lol yes I know what you mean, I paid nearly 20 bucks for a popcorn and soda. The cost more to get a snack than it does for 4 people to get in the theatre

I sneak my own stuff in. I always bring a purse large enough to fit my sandwich, chips and vodka/cranberry juice in. Screw buying stuff from the theater. They charge enough for the ticket and the movies are usually crap.

Nachos and a coke..No I love movie nachos...its worth going over the movie..I don't care about the price..its not too bad.
